hermes was fantastic! the location is perfect, just a short walk to the old town and right by mandraki harbour. our twin room had lovely views, and the breakfast was a great start to our day, with plenty of options. the staff were super friendly and helpful too!
the corridors could use a little sprucing up.

The room featured a lovely balcony view overlooking the harbor, but noise from nearby bars can disrupt sleep at night.

The spare ribs at Rodiakon are a must-try – absolutely succulent! Plus, the breakfast options had a delightful Greek twist that made my mornings special. The view from my balcony was a killer way to start the day.
The loud beats from the bar across the street kept me on my toes Saturday night, but after that, it was blissfully quiet – just how I like it!

The location cannot be beat, just a
Short stroll to both the Old Town and the beach. My single room was clean and had a nice balcony with a sea view. Breakfast featured some delightful Greek dishes, but the variety could be increased. a solid choice for anyone visiting Rhodes.

A delightful stay with stunning views
The breeze from the balcony was refreshing every morning as I enjoyed my coffee, watching the sun rise over the harbor. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable.
While the hotel provided basic amenities, the aging elevator made lugging my suitcase a bit of a challenge. I also found the shower curtain somewhat inadequate, leading to minor water issues during baths.

Consider asking for a room with a balcony for stunning harbor views and a refreshing morning breeze.

the bathroom was the definition of cramped, I could barely move. breakfast was a sad display of commercial cucumbers and uninspired choices. I thought I’d recieve some sort of upgrade for putting up with these issues, but no. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t overlook the noise and the awful service. how disappointing!

Had a great time with friends! The location was perfect for our ferry to the islands and a bus ride around. Breakfast was decent and the friendly staff made our stay even better. We enjoyed the nightlife at nearby bars and restaurants, which made for a fun evening.
Our room had a bit of an issue with the shower cubicle, as water spilled out onto the bathroom floor.

I really loved the view from my room with three big windows, and the tasty breakfast options made my mornings bright. I also appreciated the cozy lounge and game room for relaxing after a busy day. The only downside was a bit of street noise at night, but closing the door solved that easily. 👍

Staying at Hermes in Rhodes was a delightful experience. The room had a cozy balcony overlooking the harbor, perfect for sipping coffee in the morning while taking in the breathtaking views. The daily cleaning made everything feel fresh, and I appreciated the newly carpeted hallways. Breakfast offered a great variety, including freshly baked spinach pie, which was a nice touch. The location is unbeatable, just minutes from both Mandraki Harbor and the historic old town, making it easy to explore the area. the hotel does show signs of age. it needs some upgrades to the decor and facilities. While the air conditioning kept me cool, it didn’t always feel effective during peak heat. Electronic outlets could also be more abundant to accommodate charging devices. For the price, I did feel I got good value, but a bit more attention to modernizing the hotel would enhance the stay significantly.

Conveniently located just around the corner from the bus terminus, this place is perfect for a quick stop before catching a ferry. Rooms are basic but provide surprisingly good sea views, and the breakfast spread offers solid options, especially when you're on the go.
You might want to bring earplugs because the noise from the street can get a bit disruptive, especially with early morning bin lorries rumbling by. The decor feels quite dated, and the shower cubicles are a bit cramped—big guys will definitely encounter challenges there. you'll find power sockets aren’t exactly plentiful. if you need to charge devices while using a CPAP machine, you might just end up tripping over cords. It’s worth noting that the air conditioning didn’t seem particularly effective either. it could be a bit warmer around early May.
